Pam was a treasured member for 46 years of RWC. Pam was a generous and loving person, her heart for giving was boundless. It was her goal to offer a special scholarship for children who were connected with the Foster Care system.

Dulcea was a member of our Club since 1990 and served as president three different times--1999, 2001 and 2017--in addition to serving on many committees. She died in 2025 after a five year battle with cancer. She is survived by two daughters, two grandsons, one great-grandson and her sister. In lieu of flowers, we will be accepting donations to the Dulcea Sawhill Scholarship of Fine Arts, with an emphasis on music and dance. You can also make donations in the coming days by clicking below.

Music Scholarship
The Riverside Woman’s Club, is excited to offer a scholarship of $1000 to a current male or female RCC music student (including those who plan to transfer to continue their education). The Denise Markley Bressler Memorial Music Scholarship honors one of our past club presidents who was also a music teacher. We are awarding the scholarship based on the applicant's community service, financial need, personal essay, and any other relevant information.
The scholarship is supported by the de La Torre family and managed by the Riverside Woman’s Club. The scholarship was started by her family following her passing in 2015. Mary Lou was a cherished member of the Woman’s Club and was involved with the scholarship committee, her heart was to help those who wished to further their education. Mary Lou loved to do crafts and had been an avid bowler, but mostly enjoyed spending time with her abundant family.
